Alma Cabel Dytoc is a composer, arranger, musician, and vocalist of the duo He Sang She Sang based in Marietta, GA. She has been teaching piano and voice for more than 20 years and has a Bachelor's Degree in Composition and Music Education from the University of the Philippines College of Music.
Having started her musical journey on piano at the age of 5, she went on to major in both composition and music education at the premier state university, the University of the Philippines College of Music. She apprenticed at a national Philippine theater company, PETA (Philippine Educational Theatre Association), where her talent for songwriting, acting, and writing have been further honed and harnessed. She has performed both nationally and internationally, and have garnered awards for her compositions.
She began teaching piano at the age of 13, and then voice at the age of 21. She also taught music at several private schools and have been instrumental in overhauling the music program in a private all-girls' High School where she taught for 4 years. She has also trained and conducted choral groups for competitions and performances.
