When requested, special lessons on the following can be given:
Special lessons can also be given to a group of two or more students.
- Music Readiness - for children 3-5 years old. Music Readiness lessons introduce very young children to musical concepts through singing, playing of simple instruments (drums, xylophone, percussion, etc.), movement, and the playing of musical games. Students' gross and fine motor skills and ability to read musical symbols are honed through exercises integrated in movement and the playing of simple instruments and musical games.
- Introduction to Composition - for individuals 6 and up. Introduction to Composition teaches students different ways of organizing sounds and putting them to paper. A lesson map will be created based on the students' music competency. Music literacy is not required, but it will be integrated in the lessons.
- Ear Training - for individuals who want to improve their listening skills in order to grow as musicians, or were told they were "tone deaf" and would like to be assessed. Ear training students will be required to play simple instruments and to sing during lessons.
Special lessons can also be given to a group of two or more students.
- Group Vocal Training - for the group's general improvement. This does not include arrangement of vocal pieces. Group must provide the material to be learned. Individuals may be given attention during training but focus is on the group's improvement.
- Group Vocal Coaching - for a specific upcoming performance. Performance piece or pieces must already be learned by group. Coaching will focus on group's vocal technique, dynamics, expression, and performance.
